Nova Scotia Stampede 50/50 Lottery House Rules (Rules of Play)
 

Event Name: Nova Scotia Stampede

Event Dates: September 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2025

Location of Draws: Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Complex, 73 Ryland Avenue, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, B2N 2V5

 

1. General Information

• These draws are conducted by the organizers of the Nova Scotia Stampede to promote local tourism, engage the audience, offset event costs, and support the development of the Stampede as a recurring regional event.

• Draws will occur nightly during the event using Tap5050 software, which ensures tickets are available only to Nova Scotia residents through geolocation and postal code verification.

• Tickets will be sold online and in person. Phone Number and Name will be collected.

2. Draw Procedures

• The draw will take place each night before the closing act of the concert, approximately between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The exact time will depend on the performance schedule.

• The draw will be conducted automatically using the Tap5050 software, which randomly selects the winning ticket.

• ​

3. Ticket Purchase and Eligibility

• Tickets are available for purchase by any individual within Nova Scotia as verified by Tap5050 geolocation system. Tickets can be purchased both online and in person at the event.

• Ticket pricing is as follows:

  • 1 ticket for $5 (In person only)

  • 3 tickets for $10

  • 10 tickets for $20

  • 50 tickets for $50

  • 200 tickets for $100

• There are no restrictions on ticket purchases by event organizers, volunteers, or their families.

• For in-person sales, a receipt must be provided and must be free of any markings that could compromise the legibility of the information.

4. Ticket Sales Requirements

• The draw will proceed with a minimum of 2 tickets sold each night.

• There will be no extension of the draw date and no cancellation, regardless of the number of tickets sold.

5. Prize Awarding and Payout

• Only one winner will be selected each night.

• The winner will receive 50% of the total ticket sales for that day’s draw.

• No prizes will be offered in lieu of the cash payout.

• The prize will be paid out via cheque to the winner.

6. Winner Notification and Claim Process

• The winner will be announced at the event and their winning number will be posted on the Nova Scotia Stampede website.

• If the winner is not present, they will be contacted using the information provided during ticket purchase.

• If the winner cannot be reached or fails to claim their prize within 90 days, the prize will be redrawn.
